He, then, stitched a 72-run partnership with Sam Curran (20 off 24 balls) while scoring the bulk of the runs. He started slowly, scoring 27 runs off the first 30 balls he faced, but improved his strike-rate, taking just 65 balls overall to bring up his maiden century. Defending 167, PBKS struggled to get early wickets with DC reaching 65-0 runs off the first six overs. However, when the wickets started to tumble, DC began floundering good run-scoring opportunities, as they ended the innings at 136-8. Harpreet Brar registered figures of 4-0-30-4. Punjab will again face Delhi at Dharamsala on Wednesday.
