The Indian Women's League starts in a brand new format as it looks to revamp women's football in the country. For the very first time, the IWL will be played in a double round-robin format on a home and away basis. (More Football News)
Previous six seasons saw mostly centralised venues such as Delhi, Shillong, Ludhiana, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar and Ahmedabad. However, the new season season sees IWL teams battle it out across the country over three months. The tournament kicks-off from December 8 and will conclude on March 24, 2024.

Gokulam Kerala FC have won three IWL titles, showing their sheer dominance in the league. Unbeaten in the last three seasons, they have registered 27 wins and two draws from 29 games. The other teams in the league are HOPS FC, East Bengal, Odisha FC, Kickstart FC and Sports Odisha.
Odisha FC will be managed by Crispin Chettri and have recruited one of the high-profile name in Myanmar's Win Theingi Tun, who has been a nemesis for the Blue Tigresses on many occasions.
