India are set for their biggest haul in medals at Asian Games. In the 2018 Asian Games, they won 70, their highest ever at the continental games. India have ended day 10 with 69 medals (15 gold, 26 silver and 28 bronze). In cricket, the Indian Men's national cricket team are through to the semi-finals after their win over Nepal. On Tuesday, India's medal charge was led by the athletics contingent with 6 medals while in the morning, it was led by archery. In athletics, Parul Chaudhary (gold, women's 5000m), Annu Rani (gold, women's javelin throw), Tejaswin Shankar (silver decathlon), Mohammed Afsal (silver, men's 800m), Praveen Chitharavel (bronze, men's triple jump), Vithya Ramraj (bronze, women's 400m hurdles) have won medals for India at the 19th Asian Games. India's Tejaswin Shankar has won silver in the men's decathlon. What an achievement. He marked a National Record of 7666 points after placing fourth in the 1500m.

India bag bronze in Men's Triple Jump event thanks to Praveen Chithravel's first jump of 16.68m.

Mohammed Afsal wins silver in the men’s 800m.

5:47pm: Athletics - Women's 5000m
India’s Parul Chaudhary wins gold in women’s 5000m at Asian Games. The 28-year-old stayed in the top two before stepping up in the final moments to pip Japan's Ririka Hironaka for the top position with a timing of 15:14.75. For Parul, it was a second medal at the continental championships after she had claimed a silver in the women’s 3000m Steeplechase on Monday.

Indian Women's Kabaddi team have beaten South Korea by a whopping margin of 56-23.

Tanvi Khanna will take on Satomi Watanabe of Japan in the women’s singles quarter-final match, while the mixed doubles team of Dipika Pallikal Karthik/ Harinder Pal Singh take on Jemyca Aribado/ Robert Andrew of Philippines.

1:50pm: Women's Kabaddi - India Up Against Korea
After being held 34-34 by Chinese Taipei on Monday, the Indian women are up against Korea today. Korea are a stronger side on paper, so India will need to up their game.

Dhiraj Bommadevara and Atanu Das lose narrowly in their respective men's recurve individual quarter-finals, which means the Indian challenge now ends in the individual recurve section. The Indian women's challenge in the individual recurve section had ended on Monday.

Lovlina wins her bout by unanimous decision (5:0) to storm into the final and assure at least a silver medal for India. She has also qualified for the Paris Olympics with the win!

Ojas Pravin Deotale puts up a fantastic show in his semifinal, pipping Yang Jaewon of South Korea 150-146 to set up an all-Indian individual men's compound final where he will face teammate Abhishek Verma. Gold, silver both confirmed for India.

India beat Nepal by 23 runs and progress to the semifinals of the competition. Chasing a target of 203, Nepal gave it their all but ended up with 179 on the board.

In an all-Indian semifinal, Jyothi Surekha Vennam defeats Aditi Gopichand Swami 149-146 in the compound women's individual semifinal. Jyothi proceeds to the summit clash, while Aditi will fight for the bronze medal.

India have their first medal of the morning via canoe sprint. Arjun Singh and Sunil Singh Salam win bronze in the men’s canoe doubles 1000m final, finishing behind Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan with a timing of 3:53.329.
