On a rain-affected day, England capitalised on the altered conditions, bowling out Australia for 224 in their 2nd innings at Headingley on Saturday.
Two sessions were lost on Day 3 by the time play resumed, as the visitors resumed at 116-4 with Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh at crease.
It did not take England long to strike first, as Chris Woakes removed centurion from the first innings, Marsh, for 28 runs with Jonny Bairstow completing the catch behind the wickets.
The seaming conditions made batting tougher, with the ball moving around sharply. Australia lost Alex Carey for 5, Woakes striking for the second time in the day.

Head, who was watching wickets tumble at the other end, took the run-scorong onus upon himself. He was faced with a barrage of bouncers from seamers, but he confidently dispatched them, bringing up his half-century.
Bouncers contiued, and Head retaliated, but he was running out of partners. Captain Pat Cummins (1) and Todd Murphy (11) departed soon.
Stuart Broad, starting his 15th over, dismissed Head for a well-made 77 from 112 balls to end the Australian innings.
Australia were 250 runs ahead. England need to win the match to prevent the opposition from getting an unassailable lead.
