Kasani Gnaneshwar, former head of the Telugu Desam Party's Telangana unit, made a significant move on Friday as he officially joined the BRS in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, PTI reported.
During the ceremony, the BRS chief warmly welcomed Gnaneshwar by presenting him with a scarf, and KCR conveyed his assurance that Gnaneshwar and his supporters would find a promising future within the party's ranks.
This development took place on October 30, just a day before TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's release on bail from prison in Andhra Pradesh. It was prompted by Kasani Gnaneswar's resignation from the TDP, which came in response to the party's decision not to participate in the state's upcoming assembly polls.
