4.1 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Jammu and Kashmir

An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale struck Jammu and Kashmir early Sunday morning, the National Center for Seismology said.

The tremors were felt occurred around 5:15 AM today. The epicentre of the earthquake was at latitude 35.06 and longitude 74.49, at a depth of 5 km.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 30-04-2023, 05:15:34 IST, Lat: 35.06 & Long: 74.49, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: Jammu and Kashmir, India,” the NCS tweeted.

There was no immediate information about injuries or damage to properties. More details are awaited.
