Delhi: Cab Driver Dies As Robbers Attack Him And Drag For 200 Metres

The deceased driver was later identified as Bijendra, a resident of Faridabad who was driving his taxi in the Mahipalpur area when a group of robbers attempted to steal his vehicle.

In an unfortunate incident, a 43-year-old taxi driver died after he was dragged for nearly 200 meters on road in Delhi's Vasant Kunj area.

According to police, the driver was found in a critical condition on the road with a severe head injury around 11.30 pm on Tuesday night.

The deceased driver was later identified as Bijendra, a resident of Faridabad who was driving his taxi in the Mahipalpur area when a group of robbers attempted to steal his vehicle. The robbers attacked him as he tried resisting them and then dragged him for nearly 200 meters, leading to his death.

Delhi Police has registered a case while the accused is on the run.
