Samsung Galaxy S23 series is actually known for its impeccable camera performance. However, with bugs such as camera shutter lag, pictures getting blurred and others being detected in the previous One UI 6 Beta version, the company has revamped and provided a new Beta 2 update. The update has reportedly solved all the previously reported bugs and also added some exciting new features.
Camera features that have been added in the new update:
Custom Camera Widgets: With the One UI 6 Beta 2, users can now add custom camera widgets to their Home screen. These widgets can be configured to start in specific shooting modes and save pictures to a chosen album, offering quick access to your preferred camera settings.
Easier Resolution Settings: In photo and pro modes, a resolution button is now available in the quick settings at the top of the screen. This makes it easy to change the resolution of the photos, ensuring the desired quality.
Enhanced Video Size Options: When adjusting video size, a pop-up menu now appears, providing a clear overview of all available options. This simplifies the process of selecting the right video size for those varied recording needs.
Level Line for Pictures: When grid lines are activated in camera settings, a level line now appears in the middle of the screen while using the rear camera in all modes except Panorama. This helpful line indicates whether the picture is level with the ground, ensuring well-composed shots.
Effects Application: Filter and face effects have been updated with a dial interface, replacing the previous slider. This change makes it easier to make precise adjustments with one hand, allowing a proper fine-tuning of photos effortlessly.
Improved Document Scanning: The scan document feature is now separate from the scene optimizer, enabling the user to scan documents even when the scene optimizer is turned off. The new auto-scan feature automatically scans documents whenever a picture is captured, simplifying the process.
Quality Optimization: Users can now choose from three levels of quality optimization for their photos. Opt for maximum for the highest quality with extensive post-processing, minimum for quicker shots with reduced post-processing, or medium for a balanced approach between speed and post-processing.
Auto FPS Settings for Videos: Auto FPS, designed to enhance video brightness in low-light conditions, now offers three options: off, 30 fps videos only, or both 30 fps and 60 fps videos.
In addition to these features, the new update has enhanced the gallery view and photo editor experiences. Saving images as stickers, and enhanced layouts among others are some updates that have left a mark in the tech industry.
