A Russian attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia killed eight people in the early hours of Saturday, regional governor Mykhailo Semikin said. Three children were among those killed, according to the Associated Press.

The attack hit several locations simultaneously in the early hours of Saturday, Reuters reported. Sixteen others were injured as rescuers continued searching for people trapped under the rubble.
