PETA India has awarded veteran actors Zeenat Aman and Jackie Shroff as the ‘Most Beautiful Vegetarians Of 2023.’ The animal rights organization took to their social media accounts to make this news public.
Sharing a picture of Zeenat Aman and Jackie Shroff, PETA India wrote, “Celebrating allure with a heart! @thezeenataman and @apnabhidu shine as PETA India’s 2023 Most Beautiful Vegetarian Celebrities! Compassion looks good on them!”
In their blog post, PETA India mentioned how Zeenat Aman has urged her fans “not to promote any online content that features captive wildlife as pets or exhibits”. Jackie Shroff, on the other hand, emphasized the need to rescue animals. In an earlier Instagram post, Zeenat Aman had shared the story of her rescued dog, Lily. She shared a picture of Lily getting her vaccinations at the veterinary and wrote how Lily isn’t the only rescued pet that she has. She said, “I don’t just share my home with Lily. We also have four cats in the house! They’re all rescues of course.”

Jackie Shroff has been known for his dedication to environmental causes. The actor is seen gifting plants to celebs and has often stressed upon the need to plant more trees. Recently, the actor arrived at the NMACC opening with a plant. Jackie Shroff shared the picture of the award on his Instagram as well. PETA India commented, “Thank you for being a real-life hero for animals! Animals are lucky to have you in their corner. Congratulations!” Celebs like Neena Gupta and Suniel Shetty congratulated him on this win.
