Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan were spotted in Trichy airport on Wednesday morning and also visited temples in the neighbouring districts Kumbakonam and Thanjavur. Throughout their journey, both stars were surrounded by fans requesting selfies.
Things hit the roof when the crowd started entering the inner sanctum of the temple with phones. Clips of the same are making the rounds on social media. Both Nayan and Vignesh are seen visibly annoyed and can be heard asking the fans to let them pray in peace.
Later, Nayanthara obliged the fans and posed for selfies once she was outside the shrine. It is said that the couple are visiting multiple temples for special prayers for the well-being of their newly-born sons.

Recently, Vignesh Shivan revealed the full names of their twin sons. Sharing pictures of his family on Instagram, Shivan wrote, “Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan. Ulag Daiwik N Shivan. N stands for the best mother in the world Nayanthara. We are happy and proud to introduce our babies’ names :) our blessings and happiness. Blessed.”
On the work front, Vignesh, who last directed Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is yet to announce his next film. He was supposed to direct Ajith Kumar in AK62, but the film didn’t materialise as the actor chose to work with director Magizh Thirumeni instead. On the other hand, Nayanthara, last seen in Connect, will be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. She is also part of a film titled Iraivan, starring Jayam Ravi in the lead role.
