Hoshi and Woozi of South Korean boy band, Seventeen, is all set to be enlisted in mandatory military service. They are the third and fourth members of the band to enlist, after Jeonghan and Wonwoo. The news of Hoshi and Woozi's military enlistment was announced by PLEDIS Entertainment.
Seventeen's Hoshi and Woozi's military enlistment date
As per a report in Soompi, on Tuesday, July 8, PLEDIS Entertainment released the official statement about Hoshi and Woozi's enlistment. They will join the mandatory military service this September. Woozi will join on September 15, while Hoshi on September 16.
"They are scheduled to participate in the “HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]” and the SEVENTEEN 5th Studio Album Yizhiyu video call fan signing as their last official activities before enlistment. Following the start of their military service, they will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities. However, they will continue to stay connected with CARAT through a variety of pre-recorded content," read the statement.
It also revealed that numerous enlistees and their families will be present at the enlistment ceremony, and they have urged everyone to refrain from visiting the site in person and requested to send their heartfelt messages of farewell and encouragement for Hoshi and Woozi through Weverse.
"We ask for your continued love and support for the artists and best wishes for their safe and healthy return. We will also strive to provide our artists with all the necessary support during this time. Thank you," the statement concluded.
Earlier, Seventeen's Jeonghan enlisted on September 26, 2024, and Wonwoo started his service this year on April 3, 2025.
About Hoshi and Woozi's upcoming concert
Hoshi and Woozi are gearing up for their upcoming Hoshi X Woozi fan concert tour, titled WARNING. It is scheduled to place in July and August. The tour begins in Seoul on July 11-13, followed by shows in Busan, and Gwangju. Busan will have two concerts: on July 19 and 20, and the last concerts will be in Gwangju on August 23 and 24. They will also perform in Taiwan's Taoyuan, and Japan's Yokohama.
