Beauty mogul Kim Kardashian has four kids with her ex-husband, Kanye West. In a recent interview, the SKIMS founder opened up about parenting. She also revealed that one mistake that she made with her oldest daughter, North, that she won’t repeat with her younger daughter, Chicago.
In an interview with Bustle, Kim Kardashian revealed the changes she had made in her parenting. She revealed that she had initially let North West wear red lipstick for Christmas. Reflecting on that, she said that she would not do that with Chicago. She said, “My littlest one's too little and I don't let her. I look back and there's times when I remember I let my daughter wear a red lip once for Christmas. Would I do that now? Probably not.”

Kim Kardashian was referring to the 2018 Christmas party where she had let North wear red lipstick. She was criticized by her fans for letting her daughter wear a bold lip colour. She had, however, defended her decision and said that her daughter had picked it up.
With that being said, Kim Kardashian revealed that she is not against her daughters wearing makeup. She said, “I think as a parent you just learn and figure it out as you go and we realized we didn't really want her to wear makeup at a young age but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss.” She mentioned that she is fine with them using makeup as long as they use it to express themselves. She added, “It's like they want to play with their friends and do it, and then they want to just wash it right off. I'm down for the artistry. I think it's fun when they're trying it all and expressing themselves.”
