Actor Kajol shared the motion poster of her upcoming web series 'The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha' on Friday, just a few hours after her cryptic post about facing a tough trial and announcing the break from social media. Earlier in the day, the actor had also deleted all her social media posts.
The actor took to her social media accounts to share the motion poster of the series and wrote, “The tougher the trial, the harder you come back! Catch the trailer for my courtroom drama #HotstarSpecials #TheTrial – Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha on June 12th. Coming soon only on @DisneyPlusHS.”
Soon after the announcement of the series, Kajol’s earlier social media posts were restored on her Instagram account.

The Trial is the official Hindi adaptation of popular American legal and political drama The Good Wife, which stared Julianna Margulies in the lead role. The Trial, a Disney Plus Hotstar special, is directed by Suparn S Varma, who is also the showrunner for the series.
The Trial also stars Jissu Sengupta, Kubrra Sait, Alyy Khan and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal roles. The series’ trailer will release on June 12.
Kajol also has Lust Stories 2 in her kitty. The anthology has been directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh, and stars Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Mrunal Thakur among others.
