Jr NTR Returns Home Safely From Earthquake-Hit Japan, Says He Is 'Deeply Shocked'

Jr NTR is back home safe his family from Japan. He said he was "deeply shocked" by the earthquakes in Japan.

On Monday, the western region of Japan was hit by a series of earthquakes, the largest one had a magnitude of 7.6. It damaged buildings, vehicles and boats, leaving eight people dead in Wajima city. Seven others were seriously injured. The officials warned people to stay away from their homes because there is more risk of the quakes. Jr NTR who was with his family in Japan for a holiday had returned from the country safely.

On Tuesday morning, the 'RRR' actor informed his fans and well-wishers that he had returned from Japan. He also wished for the swift recovery of the island country.

Jr NTR wrote on the X platform that he was "deeply shocked" by the earthquakes in Japan. He further wrote, "Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery. Stay strong, Japan''.

On January 1, Jr NTR, his wife Lakshmi Pranathi, and their two children, Abhay and Bhargav were seen arriving at the Hyderabad airport. They spent Christmas and New Year in Japan.

On the work front, Jr NTR will be seen in Koratala Siva's 'Devara', which will be released in two parts. On January 1, the makers of 'Devara' unveiled a new poster from the film and shared that the first glimpse will be released on January 8.

'Devara Part 1 will hit the theatres on April 5. It also stars Janhvi Kapoor that marks her debut in the Telugu films. Apart from 'Devara', Jr NTR will also be seen in 'War 2' with Hrithik Roshan.
