In her short film For You and Me, director Tanushree Das unveils the desires and passions experienced by a couple in a modern, long-distance relationship. The film was showcased at the Serendipity Arts Festival in Goa, 2022 as part of Sudarshan Shetty’s curation, Who is Asleep Who is Awake. There are no dialogues or actors, yet the film leaves its audience aching for more. For You and Me attempts to use lens-based media to capture and contain the reality of imaginations. Through the metaphors of texts and images, the film breaks down desires, imagination, distances, worlds and dreams.
