National Cinema Day is observed on October 13. It was conceived by the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) in 2022 to commemorate the reopening of theatres post the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then on this day, the association offers significant discounts on movie tickets for moviegoers to support cinema hall owners, who incurred huge losses during the pandemic.

'Tiger 3'
