The CJP were represented by national spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka while the government was represented by JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh.

CJP Protest LIVE: As the protests have intensified over the days the government has been spurred into action with a preliminary meeting between JP Nadda and CJP spokespersons taking place a few days ago. The meeting today was a continuation of its predecessor occuring with the added backdrop of Sonam Wangchuk breaking his indefinite fast after receiving several written assurances from the government. The CJP were adamant over its demand for Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and tabled the same in the meeting. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Saurav Das said that he communicated to the ministers present that the demand for the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan was 'non-negotiable'.
