Defending champions France made their way into the World Cup final for the second time in four years after beating Morocco in the semifinal at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday. (More Football News)

During the warm-up prior to the match against the African underdogs, France's Kylian Mbappe accidentally hit a fan in the face after kicking the ball into the stands. The 23-year-old saw the entire incident unfold and immediately rushed into the stands and to the fan's aid. A video of him apologising to the fan has caught the attention of social media users, with many praising the young footballer.

As for Mbappe's performance in the match, he did not score any goals.

Theo Hernandez broke the deadlock for France in the opening minutes, building pressure on Morocco right away. The Atlas Lions' dreams were crushed after substitute Kolo Muani registered the second and final goal of the game in the 79th minute.

Having qualified for the final, France will face Lionel Messi's Argentina where all eyes will be on the veteran as well as his PSG teammate Mpappe. The last game of the showpiece tournament will be played on Sunday at the Lusail Stadium.
