Dhawan's personal life is messed up as well after the separation from his wife Aesha Mukerji. Despite the tough time, Dhawan shared an emotional post on social media, that he is unable to meet and see his son Zoravar for a year.

Dhawan posted an emotional note for his son saying, "It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday."

Dhawan and his estranged wife Mukerji have been battling a court case wherein the former was granted divorce by a Delhi court on the grounds of 'cruelty' inflicted by his ex-wife.

He further wrote, ""Even if I can’t connect with you directly, I connect with you through Telepathy. I am so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing up nicely."

Currently, his son Zoravar is in Australia with Mukerji. Dhawan's message continued, ""Papa always misses you and loves you. He’s always positive, waiting with a smile for the time when we will meet again by the Grace of God. Be naughty but not destructive, be a giver, be humble, compassionate, patient, and strong."

The post has earned over six million likes and counting on Instagram.
