Premier League 2022-23: Marcus Rashford Scores As Manchester United Seal 1-0 Win Over West Ham – In Pics

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League after their 1-1 draw to Chelsea last weekend. Taking on West Ham United, the Red Devils attacker Marcus Rashford netted a powerful header in the 36th minute to give the lead to the hosts. Christian Eriksen swung an inviting cross in the box which was met with Rashford’s head, with the ball flying past West Ham keeper Lukasz Fabianski. The Englishman’s goal was his 100th of his Manchester United career, becoming the 22nd Manchester United player to achieve this feat. Goalkeeper David De Gea kept his fifth clean sheet of the season, making four big saves in the process to keep West Ham United attackers away from goal. The narrow 1-0 win sees Ten Hag’s side jump to fifth in the table with 23 points, two points above sixth placed Chelsea.
