Avinash Sable bagged India's first-ever 3000m steeplechase gold, while Tajinderpal Singh Toor continued his dominance in the men's shot put event to defend his 2018 Asian Games gold. The trio of Kynan Chenai, Zoravar Sandhu and Prithviraj Tondaiman too finished in first place in men’s team trap shooting to make it a rewarding day for India.
