In a tragic incident, a massive fire that broke out at a showroom in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi, killed four people including a woman on Monday.
It has been reported that the fire engulfed a three-storey electronics showroom and a sports store located in Sipri Bazar area.
As per media reports, three people were burnt alive inside the showroom and their bodies were recovered.
Police rescued a woman who worked as an assistant manager at a United Insurance Company and rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to burn injuries during treatment.
A rscue operation was conducted jointly by police and fire tenders for about 10 hours.
District Magistrate of Jhansi, Ravindra Kumar, has ordered an inquiry to determine the cause of the fire.
