A video footage shared by news agency ANI captures the assailant, dressed in a yellow t-shirt and jeans, entering the hospital while engaged in a phone conversation. Without warning, he suddenly opens fire at the seated victim within the hospital's waiting room. The swift intervention of another individual prompts the assailant to make a hasty escape from the scene.

The attacker discharged two gunshots at the victim, resulting in critical injuries. The hospital's medical team promptly responded by performing a surgery to extract the bullets. The incident unfolded at a private hospital located in the Darahra locality, falling under the jurisdiction of the town police station in the district. The occurrence triggered a state of chaos within the hospital premises, and the assailant managed to flee the scene without encountering any resistance.
