Andhra chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has made it known that he’d like traditional bouquets, garlands to be replaced by DDs in favour of the CM’s relief fund. So it was that local banks in Madakasira, Anantpur district, exhausted their entire supply of DDs last weekend with various individuals and organisations presenting over 10,000 drafts worth Rs 10 lakh to the visiting Reddy.
