The Forest Fire Spreads
JMM chief Shibu Soren, an erstwhile BJP ally (during the pre-Jharkhand days), has also let his verbal fury loose on Marandi: "The chief minister is trying to create a post-Godhra-like situation in Jharkhand to remain in power. Gujarat burnt on communal lines and he is trying to burn Jharkhand too with his domicile policy."
There is also pressure on Marandi from the BJP high command to sort things out before they spin out of control. Very clearly, Jharkhand is a political tinderbox waiting to become an inferno.
