Director General of Police Umesh Mishra has established a Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by Additional Director General (Crime) Dinesh MN, to investigate the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. In response to the heinous crime, a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh has been announced for information leading to the arrest of the two accused, as reported by Indian Express.

Rajasthan Police conducted searches to apprehend the individuals responsible for Gogamedi's killing. The motive behind the murder is reportedly linked to Gogamedi's support for individuals opposing gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post. Gogamedi was fatally shot in his Jaipur residence on Tuesday.
