Addressing a large rally in Motihari, East Champaran district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Congress-RJD alliance, accusing them of neglecting Bihar’s development during their years in power and using the poor and socially disadvantaged communities as tools for political gain.

“The RJD can't think of giving jobs to the youth. They grabbed land from poor people before offering employment,” the prime minister said, referring to the alleged land-for-jobs scam during the RJD’s previous tenure.

Modi introduced a fresh campaign slogan, “Banayenge naya Bihar, phir ek baar NDA sarkar” (We will build a new Bihar, once again an NDA government).

He further asserted that the initiative Operation Sindoor, aimed at women’s safety and empowerment, had taken shape in Bihar and claimed that its success was visible to the world.

Criticizing previous governments, he said there was a “huge development gap” during the RJD-Congress rule with limited infrastructure growth, education access, and employment generation.

“They never worked for the betterment of the poor. They only indulged in politics in the name of the poor and the socially marginalised,” he said.
