Mumbai Police told the media that a school in Mumbai's Jogeshwari-Oshiwara region received a bomb threat mail today and they immediately dispatched an explosive detection personnel to investigate the situation.
ANI quoted a Mumbai police official who said, "A bomb threat email prompted an immediate security response at a school in the Jogeshwari-Oshiwara region of Mumbai, with local law enforcement and explosive detection personnel dispatched to conduct a thorough investigation of the premises."
Repeated Bomb Threats In Delhi Schools
Over 400 school in Delhi received hoax bomb threats and Delhi Police had detained a a Class-12 student earlier this month. After questioning the
Delhi police revealed that the boy's parents were linked to an NGO that supports a political party and through investigation, it was found that the NGO also voiced its support to Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
This also led to a political slugfest in the national capital as the parties blamed each other behind the disruption.
