Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin addressed and dismissed recent rumors surrounding his son Udhayanidhi's supposed appointment as deputy CM, categorizing them as baseless. Stalin clarified that these speculations were deliberately propagated by those opposing the upcoming DMK Youth Wing Conference in Salem on January 21, where Udhayanidhi is slated to preside.

Amid preparations for the Salem conference, Stalin emphasized that false information about his health had been circulated by rumor-mongers. In a Pongal greetings message, he affirmed his good health, citing his recent participation in an event where he expressed contentment and asserted, "I am healthy and cheerful. I am working, working, working."

Following the debunking of health-related misinformation, fresh rumors emerged regarding Udhayanidhi's potential appointment as deputy CM. Udhayanidhi promptly addressed this speculation, affirming the support of all ministers for the Chief Minister and effectively putting an end to the controversy.

Stalin urged party workers to stay focused on the Youth Wing Conference's objective, emphasizing advocacy for state rights and federalism. He cautioned against falling prey to attempts to divert attention through unfounded rumors, underscoring the significance of leadership roles within the party.
