In a resolute step towards restoring harmony in a region marred by recent communal violence, a high-level delegation of senior Haryana Congress leaders, spearheaded by state unit chief Udai Bhan, is slated to embark on a significant visit to Nuh district on Tuesday.

The delegation's mission aims to breathe fresh life into the region, which was engulfed by unfortunate clashes that led to the loss of six lives, including two home guards and a revered cleric. The turmoil ignited when certain individuals allegedly hurled stones at a procession organized by the Vishva Hindu Parishad on July 31, triggering a chain reaction that spread to the neighboring Gurugram, according to PTI.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the state unit of the Congress party underscored the delegation's purpose, stating, "A distinguished panel of senior party leaders, led by Haryana Congress president Chaudhary Udai Bhan, is set to embark on a journey to Nuh, where they will engage with the victims of the violence and the local populace."

Former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, will be an integral part of this compassionate mission. The statement emphasized, "The primary objective of this endeavor is to rekindle the flames of peace and brotherhood in the afflicted area, while seeking to uncover the truth."

Advocating for transparency and accountability, the Congress has demanded a judicial inquiry into the Nuh violence, with the vigilant supervision of a high court judge. Hooda directed his criticism towards the ruling BJP-JJP government, suggesting that timely and proactive measures could have prevented the tragic incident. He decried the government's apparent failure in fulfilling its obligations.

Bhan, the Haryana Congress chief, lamented the apparent disarray within the government, stating, "Conflicting statements between the chief minister and the home minister regarding the issue in Nuh have exposed a lack of coordination. The perplexing question remains, who truly holds the reins of law and order?"

With an unwavering commitment to preserving lives, property, and the social fabric of the state, Bhan reiterated, "The Congress is steadfast in preventing the BJP-JJP government from manipulating the delicate balance of people's lives and the harmony that defines our state."
