In a tragic incident on Monday morning, a fierce gun battle between two armed groups in Manipur's Imphal West district resulted in the death of three individuals and left four others injured, according to local police sources.

The confrontation took place in the Kangchup area of the district, where the armed groups clashed violently. The injured individuals were promptly rushed to a hospital in Imphal, where their conditions were reported to be stable, as confirmed by the police.

Simultaneously, in Serou, located in Kakching district, four people sustained injuries during an exchange of gunfire between two groups. The exact cause and details surrounding the clashes in both incidents are currently under investigation.
