Congress Chief Kharge Questions PM Modi Over Not Visiting Violence-Hit Manipur

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over not visiting ethnic violence-hit Manipur.

Congress chief during a presser said: “Unfortunate incidents took place in Manipur; PM speaks everywhere, does photo sessions but does not visit that state.”

“PM can visit Lakshadweep but can't go to Manipur,” he said.

He also said Congress’ new Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will focus on basic social, political, economic issues of country.

Kharge said Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will cover 100 Lok Sabha seats and 337 Vidhan Sabha seats.
 

He also alleged BJP is “blatantly misusing agencies such as ED, IT department to threaten opposition leaders.

Kharge also said they have invited INDIA bloc leaders, civil society members to participate in Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

He also lambasted government over new labour laws and criminal laws.

Kharge termed the new laws as “signs of dictatorship”.

Kharge said his party has got invitation for Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya on January.

He added the party will soon decided on the invitation.
