The Aam Aadmi Party, in a press conference on Tuesday, announced their CM candidate face for the upcoming Punjab state assembly elections. Bhagwant Mann will be the Chief Minister face for AAP in the Punjab polls, party spokesperson Raghav Chadha announced.
Harpal Singh Cheema and Bhagwant Mann were the two prominent names for consideration for the next CM face of the party in Punjab. The people of Punjab were asked to give their choice through SMS, WhatsApp or voice message on a mobile number provided by the Aam Aadmi Party till 5 pm on Monday.
The Aam Aadmi Party has been expanding its presence from its stronghold Delhi to the entire country. In the upcoming state assembly elections, they have also fielded candidates in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa.
