The Directorate Of Education (DoE), Delhi has shared the calendar for the academic year 2025-2026 on Monday. The calendar contains all the details of public holidays and vacations applied for all the government and government-aided schools in Delhi.
Summer Vacation
Keeping the extreme hot weather in mind, the DoE has issued a 51 days holiday this summer in Delhi. The schools in the capital will remain closed from May 11 to June 30. But the teachers will have to come to school from June 28, to make sure everything is fine before school re-opening. This vacation will be applied in all the government and government-aided schools in Delhi.
Autumn Break
The autumn break in Delhi schools is scheduled from September 29 to October 1, 2025.
Winter Vacation
The winter vacation will continue from January 1, 2026 to January 15, 2026.
Important Dates
The calendar also includes exam dates, result dates and also parents-teacher meeting dates.
Common Pre-Board School Examination (CPSE) for classes 10 and 12 will continue from December 15 to December 31 and the results for this will be published by January 7, 2025.
Results for classes I to IX will be published between March 26 to March 31. Result announcement of class XII depends on CBSE’s schedule.
