Crypto Price Update: Market Down For Second Day, Total Trading Volume Dips By 4.94%

The global cryptocurrency market was trading in the loss for the second day on Thursday, down by 0.30 per cent to $1.18 trillion from the previous day’s session. The total trading volume was also down by 4.94 per cent to $34.66 billion, as most of the major crypto coins were trading in the dip.

Pepe PEPE was the most trending cryptocurrency for the second conservative day, up by 3.76 per cent to $0.000001234. Its 24-hour trading volume was $162.69 million. Aptos APT was the top gainer, up by 10.04 per cent to $7.36, with a 24-hour trading volume of $729.60 million.

Optimism OP was the top loser on Thursday, down by 7.34 per cent to $1.56 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $189.02 million.

DeFi fell 8.28 per cent to $2.86 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.58 per cent to $29,509.24. Its 24-hour trading volume was $17.72 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was at 48.83 per cent, down by 0.08 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down by 0.22 per cent to $1,850.57 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.49 billion.

Tether: Tether was down by 0.05 per cent to $0.9991 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $22.10 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was down 0.53 per cent to $24.28. Its 24-hour trading volume was $435.46 million.

Avalanche was trading at $12.53, down by 0.97 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume was $107.61 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 0.36 per cent to $0.2983 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $240.82 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 0.88 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07554.

Shiba Inu was up by 1.65 per cent to $0.000009842.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.001327, up by 3.87 per cent.

Yearn.Finance was down by 0.44 per cent to $6,341.61 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $21.76 million.
