The global cryptocurrency limped back up on Wednesday after a lackluster trading session the previous day, buoyed by significant price gains across crypto assets. The market rose 1.48 per cent to $1.18 trillion, with a trading volume of $36.46 billion, up 11.78 per cent.
While price fluctuations are common in the crypto market, Wednesday’s gains indicate the market’s resilience against various headwinds, including the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) actions against firms for rule violation and Senate calls for strict laws.
On Wednesday, Pepe (PEPE) was the most trending cryptocurrency, up by 6.72 per cent to $0.000001189. Its 24-hour trading volume was $149 million. Shiba Inu (SHIB) was the top gainer, up 7.26 per cent to $0.000009626, with a 24-hour trading volume of $353 million.

Mantle (MNT) was the top loser, down 5.52 per cent to $0.4749 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $46 million.
DeFi fell 7.40 per cent to $2.7 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Ethereum: Ethereum was up by 1.15 per cent to $1,854.24 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.8 billion.
Tether: Tether was up by 0.10 per cent to $0.9997 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $26 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
