Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia and the team of 'Jailer' recently wrapped the shooting of the film. The makers announced the same with pictures from the shooting sets. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is said to be an action thriller and is expected to hit the big screens during 2023 summer.
Rajinikanth will be seen playing jailer Muthuvel Pandian in the film, which has a huge cast consisting of Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and others.
Sun Pictures took to Twitter and shared a couple of pictures from the wrap-up. The first picture showed Rajinikanth posing with Tamannaah Bhatia and the entire team. The other picture showed him cutting a huge cake with the film’s name written on it. A third picture showed the entire team posing for a group photo.

Malayalam actor Mohanlal will also be seen for an extended cameo in the forthcoming film.
Jailer is a full-fledged action entertainer written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film features Rajinikanth in the lead role. Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah and Vinayakan are part of the supporting cast. Mohanlal, who appears in a cameo role, went retro for his character in Jailer. Similarly, Shiva Rajkumar will also play a cameo in the film.
Produced on a massive budget by Sun Pictures, Jailer has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan and editor R Nirmal are part of the technical crew.
