Telugu actor Nani on Saturday announced the release date of his next film, which is tentatively titled Nani30. The film will hit theatres on 21 December 2023. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur in the lead role. This marks his 30th film.
He wrote in the caption, “2023 had to end with a celebration DECEMBER 21st :) #Nani30,”.
The poster shows a child holding Nani very tightly. The film was announced in January with a video of Nani sitting with his onscreen daughter. The actor, who has been sporting heavy moustache and beard for his latest release Dasara, said in the video that he will get rid of this look and go clean shaven for the new film. The actor has reportedly started shooting in Goa for the film, which is touted to be an emotional drama.

The upcoming film’s crew includes cinematographer Sanu John Varughese, and popular Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab. Praveen Anthony is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. EVV Satish is on board as the executive producer.
Nani is currently seen in Dasara, which released on March 30. The film was made in Telugu and dubbed in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Dasara has collected Rs 100 crore worldwide at the box office.
