Actress Sai Pallavi's younger sister, Pooja Kannan got engaged to her beau Vineeth on January 21. It was a close-knit- affair with only their families and close ones in attendance. Several pics and videos from the ceremony have gone viral on social media. Sai Pallavi and her family looked happy as they were totally immersed in joy as Pooja got engaged to Vineeth.
Pooja Kannan shared some precious moments from her engagement on her Instagram handle with the caption, "A bigger family , fuller hearts and too much love that my heart can’t contain 21.01.24 (sic)." A couple of pics featured Pooja and Vineeth and rest were with their families and all posed as they smiled for the cameras.

Pooja also shared glimpses of her engagement preparations on her Instagram account. The pictures had Pooja happily flaunting her mehendi. One picture featured Sai and Pooja dressed in blue outfits.
For the engagement, Sai Pallavi was in a white and golden saree. She wore subtle make-up and minimal jewellery while Pooja and Vineeth wore colour-coordinated outfits.
A video from the engagement has gone viral where Sai Pallavi was captured dancing her heart out to some lively music with a group. We all know Sai is a good dancer and we have seen her dancing skills in her films. The actress has treated her fans by shaking a leg at her sister's engagement.

Talking about Pooja, ahead of her engagement ceremony, she made her film debut as the female lead in Stunt Silva’s 'Chithirai Sevvaanam' in 2021.
On the work front, Sai Pallavi will be seen in Rajkumar Periyasamy’s Tamil film which is tentatively titled 'SK 21', also co-starring Sivakarthikeyan. The diva also has Chandoo Mondeti’s Telugu movie, 'Thandel', where she shares the screen with Naga Chaitanya. The teaser of the patriotic drama was unveiled recently. Also, Sai is said to star in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' where she is reportedly playing Goddess Sita. It also has Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram. The 'Gargi' actress will also be seen with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan for an untitled love story.
