Actress Vaishnavi Macdonald, who is best known for her work in ‘Shaktiman’, ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’, ‘Aye Mere Humsafar’, ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ among others, is set to feature in film ‘Karmaa Meets Kismet’ starring alongside Sanjay Mishra, Farida Jalal and Alka Amin. Helmed by director Gitanjalli Aran, the film is a tale of karma and destiny.
Vaishnavi spoke about the project and said, "It was different, unusual and challenging because I'm playing a single mother in the film who somehow tries to balance between everything. It was a very contemporary character and had its own challenges."

Sharing about what prompted her to take up the film, she informed us, "The entire set up of the film and the way Gitanjalli and her team connect with people, their hospitality and humbleness was praiseworthy. I knew from the start that their film is going to be made on a good level. Hence, I took up the film."
She further mentioned, "Also, I was so excited to work with Gitanjali. It was so easy and comfortable working with her. She is very down to earth, kind, loving and at the same time very professional."
Talking about her working experience with co actors, Vaishnavi signed off by saying, "Farida ji was amazing. She was almost like a real mom and she's so gentle and warm. You always learn from such veteran actors like her. We really gelled well and had a very good rapport.The whole experience was memorable and still edged in my memory which I will always cherish. The experience of this film still remains with me because of the entire team and the atmosphere on the set. All the things put together it was a memorable experience!"
