Kay Kay Menon-starrer Special Ops Season 2, which was supposed to premiere on July 11, on JioHotstar, has been postponed. The reason is not known yet, but Kay Kay took to social media to announce the new release date of the upcoming show. Special Ops 2 will now arrive next week.
Special Ops Season 2 new release date
On Tuesday evening, sharing the new release date of Special Ops 2, the streaming giant wrote on Instagram, "Himmat and his squad are ready and it’s going to be worth all the wait!! #HotstarSpecials #SpecialOps2, all episodes streaming from July 18, only on #JioHotstar (sic)".
Yes, Special Ops 2 will now release on July 18.
Kay Kay Menon also took to his Instagram handle to share a video, who said that due to certain circumstances, the decision was taken. He also promised that all episodes of the Special Ops 2 will be releasing together.

Kay Kay Menon is back as the R&AW officer Himmat Singh, and this time, the fight is against cyber terrorism which is a threat to national security. It will be interesting to see how Himmat and his undercover agents, face the new threat targeting India's digital economy.

The gripping espionage thriller also marks the return of Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, and Meher Vij. Tahir Raj Bhasin and Prakash Raj are the fresh additions.
