All 'Squid Game' fans to get ready as Netflix expands the 'Squid Game' universe beyond screens with an official video game. It will be joining other much-awaited titles like 'Sonic Mania Plus' and 'Money Heist' in their 2024 lineup of games.

On Thursday, Netflix announced its upcoming series of games in a blog post, which includes titles such as 'Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit,' 'FashionVerse,' 'Sonic Mania Plus,' 'Hades,' 'Monument Valley 1 & 2' and many more. The company also announced “a game set in the universe of Squid Game, in which you can compete with other players in games from the hit series”.

The addition of a video game marks the latest development in the extension of the 'Squid Game' universe. This follows closely after the spin-off series 'Squid Game: The Challenge' being renewed for a Season 2. Alongside, the Season 2 of the original series 'Squid Game' is also underway.
