Monsoon is here and who does not love soaking in the first rain of the season or enjoy their favourite food with their loved one? Even though going out during the season might not be something we enjoy, there is something romantic about the rains. ‘Anupamaa’ actress Madalsa Sharma says the best thing about the monsoon is how it makes Mother Nature happy and healthy.

“All our beautiful trees and plants get nourished, and of course, the weather gets so much better. When it comes to traditions, I love having lychee ice cream whenever I can,” she says.

Shooting outdoors becomes an issue during this time. “Luckily, since I’ve been doing 'Anupamaa', most of my shoots have been indoors. But even in the past, I’ve always enjoyed the rainy outdoors. The only problem is the traffic and I wish I knew the solution to it,” she adds.

While it’s fun to enjoy it raining outside from the comfort of your home, in case one is stepping out one need to be prepared and must take care of their hair and skin. In general, during this season, these things require special care.

“Honestly, I don’t change anything; I stick to the routine that I use all year for my hair and skin,” she says.

Sharing childhood memories of the monsoon, the actor adds, “When it comes to my childhood memories, I think, like many of us, even for me it would be wearing my raincoat and my big rain boots and running and dancing in the rain with my friends (smiles).”
