The second edition of the much-anticipated music festival – Lollapalooza – is set to take place in Mumbai this month. This time the artist lineup is bigger and better. Many artists will be performing for the first time in India. Singer Lauv is one of the artists for the festival. In a video message, the artist has revealed how excited he is to perform here.
The American musician, best known for his song ‘Modern Loneliness’, shared a video message with his fans. The Times of India quoted the singer saying, “Hi, India. I am excited; I can't wait to perform in Mumbai this month. It is going to be very special for me and hopefully for you as well. I love you all, can't wait to see you there.”

The singer rose to fame in India with the song ‘I Like Me Better.’ To date, he has released two studio albums, 30 singles, and two remix albums to state a few. In an earlier interview with News18, the singer revealed that he has a surprise for his fans. While he did not reveal the surprise, he did give a gist of the songs he would perform. Lauv said, “I have one surprise up my sleeve that I actually have to talk to my team about, I have to figure it out, but I have something in particular. I don’t want to say it, but it will really cool. Besides that surprise, I think it would also be great to play like, I wasn’t planning on this, but I think I’d play my song with DJ Snake. It would be really cool. I am excited to play Steal the Show, Like Me Better… I am excited to play it all.”

Lollapalooza will see artists like Jonas Brothers, Halsey, One Republic, and Sting headlining the event. The music festival will be held on January 27-28 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai.
