The announcement comes six years after Khalid was originally scheduled to perform in India. His 2020 shows were cancelled after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted live events worldwide.

Khalid’s India debut comes six years late
Khalid had been due to perform in India in April 2020 during his Free Spirit World Tour. After those concerts were cancelled, the singer had expressed his excitement about eventually meeting his Indian fans, writing that it would be his first time in the country.
The upcoming concerts now mark the fulfilment of that long-delayed plan.
What to expect from Khalid’s India concerts
Khalid rose to fame with his 2017 debut album American Teen, which featured hits including Location and Young, Dumb & Broke. He later scored major collaborations with artists including Billie Eilish, Halsey, Normani and Calvin Harris.
His current tour also features songs from After the Sun Goes Down, including Out of Body, Dumbstruck, Medicine and Rendezvous.
