The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, is scheduled to take place from August 14–August 24, 2025, where there will be screenings, panels, masterclasses, and cultural events. The nominations for IFFM 2025 awards are out with films like Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD, Mohanlal’s L2 Empuraan, Ishaan Khatter-Vishal Jethwa's Homebound, Anurag Kashyap and Vetrimaaran’s Bad Girl, Tillotama Shome’s Baksho Bondi, and Superboys of Malegaon bag nominations in film category. Black Warrant, Kota Factory Season 3, Khauf, and Paatal Lok Season 2 have received nominations in web series category. Have a look at the full list here.
IFFM Awards Night which will take place on August 15, 2025, will honour the cinematic excellence across film and OTT categories. An esteemed jury comprising of some of the revered figures of Australian cinema and cultural landscape including Garth Davis, will select the winners.
This year's nominations have mainstream and indie gems, regional films, and binge-worthy series. Nominations include projects from June 15, 2024 to June 14, 2025, and OTT nominations restricted to platforms available in Australia.
