First Look Out: Rajinikanth Turns Moideen Bhai For Daughter Aishwarya's ‘Lal Salaam’; Fans React

Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth is making a comeback as a director almost after 8 years with her directorial venture, ‘Lal Salaam’. Rajinikanth, who is currently in Mumbai and is gearing up for his upcoming back-to-back releases, is part of her daughter’s film. And on Monday, the makers finally unveiled the first look of Rajinikanth from ‘Lal Salaam’.

The filmmaker and Lyca Productions shared the first look of Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai. Sharing the news, the production house wrote on Twitter, "Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai Make way for #Thalaivar SuperStar #Rajinikanth as #MoideenBhai in #LalSalaam."

Reportedly, Thalaivar is supposed to play a cameo role in the film and will feature as Moideen Bhai. In the first look poster, the actor is seen in a stylish avatar with sunglasses. The shooting of the much-awaited film is currently underway.

Talking about ‘Lal Salaam’, it also features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, with music by AR Rahman. The editing of the film will be done by Pravin Baaskar and cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy. ‘Lal Salaam’ will have a theatrical release later this year. But an official announcement regarding the film ‘Lal Salaam’ is awaited. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in the 2021 action drama ‘Annaatthe’, also starring Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara in the lead roles under Siva’s directorial. The film also featured Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Soori, Bala, Prakash Raj, Meena, Khushbu, and others in the supporting roles. But to everyone’s dismay, it got mixed to negative responses from the audience and critics alike. 

The actor is currently shooting for ‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson.
