On December 28, Forbes Korea announced that 'Best K-Pop Idol of 2023' is none other than BTS' V. Much of the reason behind this feat is his influence and accomplishments achieved through his debut solo album 'Layover,' which released in September and sold more than one million copies in its first day.

"V released a solo album called 'Layover' in September of last year, fully demonstrating his solo charm! His solo album set the highest first-week record among all K-pop solo albums and ranked second on Billboard's main album chart Billboard 200. In the male idol category that showed the most enthusiasm during the preliminaries, BTS' V, who advanced to the finals in second place, took the lead from the beginning," the magazine read.

One commented, "Oh wow! Haters gonna hate, antis gonna cry so let them live in their bubble but Taehyung will always reign supreme." Another said, "I will never shut up about this! Kim Taehyung, The Best Idol of 2023 by Forbes Korea."

V's recognition by Forbes Korea sheds light on his profound influence on the entertainment industry. Beyond his chart-topping music records, V has made remarkable advancements in spheres of fashion and philanthropy. His impact transcends boundaries, evident in his massive social media following, solidifying his status as one of the most influential figures in the industry worldwide.
