Titled NARUTOxNINKŪ, the upcoming anime follows Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura as they embark on a mission assigned by Kakashi. Unable to accompany them, Kakashi appoints Naruto as the acting leader of Team 7.
The official description reveals that the trio become lost in another world, where they encounter a mysterious boy named Fūsuke, whose face resembles a frog's.
“What appears before the bewildered trio is a boy with a face resembling a frog’s, named Fūsuke. What awaits them in this strange new world?” the series description asks.
